DECA HELPS SHOULDER INJURY, TRUE/FALSE?

CAN ANYONE HELP, I HAVE INJURED MY SHOULDER DOING TRAINING, PHSYIO SAYS ITS MY AC JOINT AND ROTATOR CUFF, CAN DO LIGHT EXERCISES BUT WAS ABOUT TO GO ON AAS COURSE, GUYS DOWN GYM BEEN TELLING ME TO PUT 1 ML DECA IN SIDE DELT, IT IS BETTER THAN BEFORE AS NOT TRAINIG HEAVY OR DOING PUSHING EXERCISES BUT REALLY NEED TO TRAIN HEAVIER. ITS BEEN 4 YEARS SINCE I DONE A STACK AND WAS THINKING BY STICKING 1 ML DECA EVERY OTHER WEEK IT WOULD BE LIKE A BEGINNERS STACK. I HAVE BD DECABOL 1ML = 250MG. MY VIEW IS THAT THE NEXT TIME I TAKE A COURSE IT WILL HAVE GOOD EFFECTS AS NOT TAKEN IT FOR AGES AND DONT WANT TO TAKE THIS DECA AS THE EFFECTS OF MY NEXT COURSE MIGHT NOT BE AS GOOD BUT THEN IF IT HELPS MY INJURY I CAN START TRAINING PROPERLY AGAIN. IN TWO MINDS, AND ADVICE PLEASE....

I have just gone back on last week and using  750mg Sus / 400mg Deca , after 5 weeks off gym due to slipping a disk in my back i went back to the gym  last week with limited workout movements.

i have added Deca this time round as it makes me hold water and the idea is that water is also in a higher amount around the body ie.held in the blood more adding to a cusion affect around the joints and at the mo things are feeling better.

Deca will not cure or repair my problem but its another one of the little added things to help me on to the road back to hard gym work.

There is very little clinical data which supports (or discredits) the notion that deca (or steroids in general) help heal injury.

However, I did manage to find this study data that examined the effect of deca on a simulated rotator cuff injury on rabbits:

PapaspilopoulosA et al. J Inv Surg, 2010 Aug:23(4):204-7

15 days after reconsutruction, and at a dose of 10mg/kg, the deca group showed reductions in tendon strength and healing time was longer compared to control. Further microscopic investigation showed that the deca group had more localised inflammation and less elasticity.

good deca supposed to help ur joints but im not sure how much it will be able to help on a shoulder injury.. best of luck shoulder/knee and back injuries are a bitch and become depressing, i disclocated my knee this winter my legs looked like twigs the only benefit was i was able to fit in all of my old jeans lol

I think much of it has to do with deca acting as an anti-inflammatory. This in itself will reduce pain and give the impression that an injury is healed better than the reality.

Winstrol has an opposite effect incidentally by acting as a pro-inflammatory.

Both have very little if anything to do with "water" and lubrication/drying of joints
