DIPS

I STRUGGLE DOING DIPS, IS THERE ANY WAY TO TRAIN SO I CAN START TO DO DIPS. WHAT MUSCLES ARE IN USE,SHOULD I BUILD THESE UP FIRST BEFORE I START TO TRY AND DO DIPS AGAIN

    Best way to do dips is to do dips! Try bench dips and close grip bench press also.

    They either hit the chest more or the tris, depends on hand position.
    You should put a bench or similar just a little bit behind you, then place your feet crossed onto the bench for assistance. Only use your feet when you need to with only as much effort that is needed, keep as much effort/intensity on the right place.

    if you cannot lock yourself out from a dip then try to do negative firsts. get a bench or a block and assist yourself to the start position then lower yourself as slowly as you can keeping good form. try to use the block less and less and try to return to the start position under your own steam
