DNP/Slin carb up

Carb up on Thursday/Friday from cycle.

Thursday is 700g High GI carbs- wine gums, bannnans? struggle to think of anythinbg else

Friday around 400-500- mix of low and high GI carbs (so oats/rice and high GIs)

Fat is minimal I understand.

Protein remains constant?

To those who have used insulin during this carb up period, how did you use it?
Would you use it with glucophage also?

SHIC cycle starts on the Saturday so hoping to make the most of this supercompensation.

I have not used slin during the carb up but have performed the carb up with high GI foods. I found one day to be sufficiant to carb up at around 8g per kg of LBM. Don't have to worry about protein much, generally takes care of its self once you add it into a few meals. I find medium GI and more wholesome foods to work better than high GI sugary crap to be honest though, altho some find high GI works better, so whatever suits you. I did use glucophage which did seem to help comparing to previous (CKD) refeeds. I did find it's perfectly possible to out do some of the fat loss via overconsuming carbs mind, altho that's common sense really but thats another reason i don't favour high GI carbs anymore.

mrbigorexia is the man to speak to regarding slin/dnp carb up tho he has done it several times i believe.

Yeah it;s pretty impressive, especially for a weekends work as per the method i used. How long and what dose did you run it at?

High GI foods were french stick, jelly babies, marshmallows, pancakes, oats with golden syrup, bagels with honey/jam, kids cereal.

I now prefer med GI carbs though such as weetabix, pasta salad, granola, homemade bread, baked potatoes, museli. I still fill out just as well using these types of carbs but feel much more satisfied, much less bloated, less lethargic, appetite is more controlled and just feel better in general to be honest. High GI have their place tho, just not necessary for me at the mo.

Add in whey, quark, yogurt, fromage frais for quick/easy protein.
