Bellew is 6/1 for the win. I think he might be more of problem than some people think.

Can Bellew do this. Does he want it more. Is Haye a proper heavy height. Is anyone on Bellew tonight

I can't see how Bellew can win this. It's not as if he's a big puncher to perhaps get a flash KO.

It's only a big deal if you make it a big deal.

Well I take that back. I think Bellew took that first round. If only he was a genuine KO artist.

That's was an excellent fight. Absolute respect to Bellew but Haye was genuinely lame from the sixth round. If Haye doesn't retire they will have a rematch.

Get in, I thought Bellew had it in him, I had Bellew to win at 6/1. Also had Bellew for 10 round, just missed.

Honestly didn't see Bellew getting past the 4th. Fair play but I don't think he should stay at Heavyweight.

Great entertaining fight, loved it. Well apart from the jerk off fest at the end

Fury would give AJ a good run. Haye when he was younger would have knocked him into next year, but can see age is catching him. Likely the same for Klitschko.

Re: brb 2017/03/06 12:09:43 (permalink)
I really don't get why people rated Haye so highly as a Heavy. As a cruiserweight he was world class but he made an average heavyweight.

Haye cherry picked his fights (he's not the only one) and picked the path of least resistance to win a belt. Valuev lol.
Ruiz was a journeyman at the end of his career as were the fighters that followed. Del Boy was/is a domestic class fighter maybe European level at best and Fraudly, again lol.

When he fought Klit he tried to do the same jab and hide job he did on Valuev and embarrassed himself both during and after the fight.

Bellew should have been easy pickings for any world class Heavy and the fight should not have gone 6. Hayes injury has masked the fact that he still struggled to test a blown up Light Heavyweight in those 5+ rounds.
People will argue he was never fully fit. Well, that's his fault. The very least you expect from an athlete is to turn up fit. It was a money grab and Haye believed he could get the job done in a couple of rounds.

I've cringed every time I've heard people bang on about how good a Heavyweight Haye is for years. His mouth writes cheques that his ability and body can't match.

What he is world class at is selling fights. There is no doubting that.

Amazing cruiserweight.

Well got my wish and sadly I am disappointed.

Have to feel for Haye even though he was a cock because he was owning the fight. However his downfall has always been his loose flowing style if he had just jabbed and set up his shots I think he would have won easily without breaking a sweat.

Bellew could have and should have done the same when Haye was hurt. One of the most buzzard fights I have watched reminded me of Barker when his knee went.
