Cheers Ox, feeling better just a little washed out although now have a chest infection lol. But the grumpy old git is still alive and kicking😜

So this forced a bit of a deload, trained yesterday and will start a 9 week peaking programme to see where I am. 2 weeks of illness has put played to plans but hey ho.

Yes Luke is amazing and imo the finest squatter of all time. You'll see some special things from him in the next few years I'm sure as he's so much more in the tank on all his lifts and is only 21. His squats are a thing of beauty and imo he's already stronger than Ray Williams who performs crappy squats.

Anyway the challenge is real and I'd guess we'll see a raw 1100kg total some point down the line.

He's already called Ray Williams out

Had a really busy time of it with my PTing/business which I guess is good therefore training has been extremely sporadic. Which I suppose I can't complain about to the point I'm now making an OK living from it. In a fairly short period of time and competitive nature of PTing now is good I guess😊

Haha thanks Brett I've never been called that before😁

Will start posting sessions again as I've decided to join 2 feds including the GBPF so I can get a few qualifiers in for experience.

I've also had some great results from one of my clients who will be competing with me (in the Open men's) this year. After only 5 months of training we attempted 1rm's on all his lifts - Squat 200kg, bench 125kg with pause and perfect hip drive (flawless technique) and a 210kg deadlift. He's got some potential and we'll be looking at a 250kg squat, 150kg bench and 260kg deadlift for when we both compete in August - not bad for his first year of training. I also feel proud that I'm really getting the hang of creating solid Powerlifting routines after specialising in bodybuilding for so long. I've also just taken on a female bodybuilder who I'm prepping for a couple of natural physique qualifiers later in the year. So some nice client projects rather than the run of the meal trainers who I pass up to others PT's.

Due to my success I'm also treating myself and have just ordered an SBD lever belt (sorry Animal😜).

Another piece of news/update - I've continued to take the turmeric and black pepper. My motivation for this was primarily to reduce my long standing gyno (established hard lumps of 8 years) which Nolva didn't touch. I'll have to have a look back to see how long I've been taking it but gyno/lumps now almost non existent!! The last remnents I can feel are breaking down so I'd hazard a guess another couple of months and I'll be gyno free!! Pretty amazing really this stuff, a very very powerful anti E and does have solid research to show its numerous actions for controlling Estrogen. I will continue to take it long term anyway for its anti inflammatory and muscle protecting properties, the former of which is very evident (no sore joints etc...)

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and wish you all a very successful 2019 in both your training and personal endevours!!

Thanks mate took a bit of time, but everyone I'm training now is progressing so fast and it's being noticed so the fat tattooed old bugger (me😂) is getting lots of clients.

I've also got some great young male clients who are progressing so fast, one has only been with me for 5 weeks and has put on 4kg of lean muscle on and doubled his strength. Amazing what can be done if training and diet is optimal. I'll have 2 competing this year and hopefully another couple next year.

Training mentality has really changed and I'm a bit of a blast from the past in my methodologies but it works. And imo is far superior to how most train now.

Am currently looking forward to building up my online business and looking forward to getting back on stage in a couple of years myself with a big ripped "classic" looking physique similar to Owen Powell but carrying more muscle. The PT stuff has got me going again in wanting to achieve some personal goals.

Great that it's taking off and must be much more interesting for yourself that you are actually PTing 'athletes' rather than random gym people who are notoriously slack and dishonest when it comes to applying what they need to

Great to hear you are still going strong mate. Sounding very positive too bud.

I have made a mental note of the turmeric/black pepper thing. Very interesting.

I might be way off but were you also the same bloke I remember years ago when doing cycles insisted on using only aromasin for PCT?

Cheers Guys yes DV I decided I wanted to PT again so I had something I would truly enjoy. I didn't think it was going to be easy but have been pissed at the image driven side of it now and the majority of PT's who have flooded gyms who know very little.

But it's starting to pay off now and as you say exciting to be training people who really appreciate and apply what you show them with discipline.

I couldn't manage the sides with Nolva Brett so tried a number of other methods. The gyno I stomached the meds but it wouldn't shift. The Turmeric is just about there I'd guess another couple of months and it'll be gone. If I do go the bbing route again I'll go low dose TRT with blasts (when competing) no more than 600-800mg. This will be professionally administered and pharma so with how I responded to light oral cycles should prove to be more than enough. It's also good to know for me at least I have a very potentent natural estrogen.

The SBD belt arrived today - its a lovely thing as belts go. Can't fault the quality of manufacture. The tightness you can get is far superior to my Titan quick release 10mm Longhorn - a very good belt. Will spend the next few weeks breaking it in. But highly recommended.

I'm considering letting a couple of my clients use the belt so they can feel the pain and quicken the process as it's extremely stiff😂 Lovely quality leather though.

Haven't been getting consistent training in due to Christmas and business picking up. Back to the grind now. Nothing spectacular and first time using the new belt.

Deadlifts

1x5 60kg
1x4 90kg
1x3 130kg
1x2 160kg
1x1 190kg
1x1 210kg
1x3 245kg

All felt good, belt faultless didn't get any issues with it digging in that some complain about probably due to the extra "padding" I've acquired lol.

Also not wearing belt to 210kg to try to improve core strength. All below belt less again to work on core.

Paused deadlifts

3x2 170kg

Pendlay row

1x6 100kg
1x5 120kg
1x5 140kg
1x4 150kg
