Decent Mattress

I have a good memory foam mattress but its time for a new one as its started dipping and not good for my back .

I cant afford a really expensive one. I saw this on amazon which looks good value

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B006MUTMDS/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2MXGZVWPYU18K&coliid=IVBQKCBRP2X49&psc=1

also ive been looking on Ebay they seem really cheap but I cant tell if they are any good or not.

Anyone have any good recommendations at around the £200 mark?

I bought a memory foam mattress topper about 10 years ago and it hasn't lost any of its firmness. Cost about £99. Just put on top of your existing mattress.

We have a Tempur memory foam mattress, cost £2K and we loved it for about 6 months but now we both feel wrecked in the morning, massive waste of money.
Can't carry on like this so it's going to have to go, costly mistake.
We used to have a Vispring before that and it fabulous, best mattress I've ever slept on by a country mile.

I need a new mattress but I kept hearing how hot the memory foam ones were so I'm still looking for a good mattress too. I loathe being too hot in bed.

Look at this one mate what JimJim posted. Seems to address that issue.

I bought my last mattress (foam) from Ikea. A bit on the warm side, yes, but amazingly comfortable (almost too comfortable, like you never want to get out of bed in the morning ), and around that price for a fairly big 160x200cm.

I tried a bunch of latex mattresses and they were far less comfortable. And nevermind springs, I'm never buying a spring mattress again. The only thing that compared were the much more expensive memmory foam ones.

I work for a company that makes mattresses. We've done away with foam and do it all with springs and fillings. Amazing things to sleep on. We have some that sell for over £10k!!!

I think you mean that your company has done away with Springs and now do all mattresses with Foam and other filling materials?

I brought a bed from Hamleys, - I love it..  it has a memory foam top layer about 3 inches thick, and the rest is made up of 3,000 pocket springs... - so so so comfy it's ridiculous... - I don't like full memory foam as air does not circulate well and they get far too hot, especially sleeping next to someone
