Definetly over training!

I've been at the weights and cardio with very high intensity for the last month or so and I'm starting to feel it. Loss of energy, muscle soarness etcc...

Thought about taking a week off to recover focusing on meal consumption high in protein. Definetly a mind set adjustment though since I don't know if I can stay out of that gym for a week.

Would you guys recommend hitting the gym with low intensity workouts or just plain sit back and recover?

Cheers guys

    my suggestions:

#1 sit back and recover, all well versed people take a week off/de-loading week now and again, for me, thats every 4-8weeks.
#2 get a better routine and oraginse that around your goals. realise that you will find it hard to gain quality muscle and lose fat at the same time
#3 fet your deit and recovery sorted, knowing how to help your body recover is one of the most important things you can learn

have fun, you should not go into the gym/use the gym to vent frustration or because you have to. you should WANT to! thats important. psychology is a big factor in sucsess at anything, this game is no different.

Definetly feuling the body with adequate amount of carbs Humpty.....diet has been strict and consistent throughout the workouts. Don't know if I should change my diet, though, given the fact that I will probably be off for a week .
