Dextrose post workout while cutting?

I'm trying to put together a cutting diet, my job is quite physical so I I won't be going super low with the carbs, but I will reduce them significantly.
I'm just wondering what I should do with my post workout sugar  when cutting.
I usually have 2 scoops of whey and 40g dextrose straight after training, should I continue with this or stop it completely, or maybe reduce it to 30-20g?
Thanks

I'm no expert on this, but I also use the same meaures as you with the p/w whey and dextrose..  I'm cutting as well, the way i see it if you are still training with full intensity, the post workout 'meal/drink'  is the most important one.  I wouldnt compromise this meal.

What I have done is increase my cardio to a further 30 mins a day, and I'm seeing good results from this without reducing the carbs too much.

Just thought you might be interested in whats working for me.  Good luck with it.

Depends on what you are going to eat the rest of the day. If the rest of the day was going to be low carb or no carb then I would include the dextrose after working out.

On a side note,  try experimenting for a few weeks.. by reducing the dextrose like you have said,  and see how that goes.. its all about personal trial and error with these things..(everyone different)  it isnt a bad idea if your getting the results... but I would still try and get the cardio increased a bit,  in my opinion.. you cant beat the speed of seeing reduced fat and defintion than getting your cardio in check.

    Don't remove it.

You want to clean your diet up first and foremost.

Assuming you have already done that, you want to keep calories constant and have some cardio in there before breakfast.

The ideal situation is to keep calories consistent throughout and burn fat through cardio and boosting the metabolism using thermogenic aids like green tea and caffeine.

I am folliowing the same diet for my show as I was 12 weeks ago and its worked far better for me than before when I have dropped calories when progress has stalled in the past.

same as me.   With the cardio before breaky, I just have a glass of water with some L-Glutamine before I start the cardio.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll keep the dextrose in then, for now atleast.

Morning cardio isn't an option for me unfortunatly, I have to do it PM after my weights session, I'll try and fit in 20 mins at lunch too though.
I like the idea of increasing cardio rather than drasticly reducing carbs, I feel terribly drained on few or no carbs which makes it hard to do my job.
I eat clean all the time really...I'll deffinatly try to be more consistant though, so its easier to see whats working or what isn't

    Thanks again
