Hmm..so what does workout nutrition look like then?

    ok so...

    4.50am wpc/water
    5.00am multigrain oats/honey
    -How much honey?
    -What else with the oats?

    8.30am wpc/milk
    fruit
    sometimes chicken breast slices
-I'd stick to the solid protein
-Got to add something else to this meal, some fats perhaps?

    11.00am steamed veggies/chicken some dressing
    fruit salad

    2.00pm wpc/milk
-Why is this a liquid meal?

    tea/supper depends...
    sometimes chick madras/brown basmati
    -What time is this at?

Before Bed I'm assuiming is something like casein then?

    ________________

Overall there seems to be a lack of fats, lack of veg, lack of food in general.
I'd go for more solid food rather than powder/liquid.

What kind of fat loss are you looking at?
(how much in how much time?)

well thats why i posted some diet ideas as i know it's lacking so recepies/ideas would be great

fat loss id say to just lose the belly would be a good start a nice toned look it's mainly speed im interested in 4 years ago i dropped to 12st5lb and was very rapid

tea can vary but id say anywhere inbetween 5-6pm

bed wise i usually have cottage cheese

i just find it hard to find suitable quick meals because all the canteen supplies are the worst foods you can think off chips with everything!!

with the breakfast i'll thrown in at least a good tablespoon of honey more for flavour than anything else plus soya milk

    welcome mate

in all honesty unless its downhill MTB (ie its heavy cardio) your diet must be more carbohydrate based instead of protein

yeah the problem is i believe im VERY carb sensitive i get very tired and stressful if i raise the carbs for some reason it really doesn't agree with me plus having a bmr at a snails pace doesn't help matters

IMO nothing to do with it

cardio based activites that require performance generally require a diet of 70% carbs

right carbs, right amounts, right time

    Up your fruit and veg.
Include things like lentils, chick peas, beans, etc.
More fats like nuts, olive oil, flax, etc.

Hmm, what kind of milk are you using? Always soya?

You probably dropped to that weight because of an extremist diet. Speed isn't always good in the long run because the results probably won't last. Aim for about a 1-2lb. loss per week.

Hmm, well you'll need to prepare your food beforehand really. Put it in containers or whatnot.

Depends on the rest of your fat intake throughout the day and the amount you're aiming to consume.

yeah meant to say i snack on nuts as/when i usually keep a bag handy just incase

i'll try raising carbs gradually and see where that gets me i'd be surprised if it did because yesterday i had the best ride of my life

first comp in a while last event was again about 4 years ago newhnam 90 km enduro event i ride xc predominantly

i was taking eca last time as well but found it made me very moody so decided to avoid it this time around

anyway time for bed need my rest afterall

oh meant to add my training is pretty much sorted as ive been riding for about 8 months solid now i just need to knock the fat off and pack on more muscle

There is no RDA for "fats".
Sat. fats should be less than or equal to 10% of total fat intake I think. Overall fat intake can vary but I generally say 20-30% of overall calories come from fats.
