Dieting and using percentages, what do you think?

IMO one of the best ways to diet or bulk is to use percentages e.g. 40% 40% 20%, 55% 30% 15%, 45% 35% 20% etc depending on what you want. What do you guys think about it?

    no percentages for me, daily schedule, lifestyle and activity levels will determine how many cals you need, especially carbs which throws the equations in the bin for most
