Digital Scales

Will these be ok for measuring 1.0 - 5.0g amounts of amino acids?

    depends on the scales! Your average scales wont cut it if you need as kow as one gram

    IIRC 5g is roughly a teaspoon

    although i do find em useful at measuirng out basmatti rice ....about the only thing i use em for
