Strong benching mate.

You’re reps are huge.. do you think yiu’ll Ever program consistent moderate reps? Like 6-10? I know you love chasing volume and it is so easy to get a volume increase by banging out tons of reps but do you think some consistent heavier lower reps will benefit?

For example you did 312 reps in 19 working sets.. that averages 16.5 reps per set. That’s borderline endurance work for it to be your average.

So basically what I’m saying is it’s time to put some godamn weight on the Bar!

I will do. I've been using most of this year as a learning curve for the exercises and variations I can work with around the niggles I've had, the niggles have largely pushed me towards lighter loads initially but as the gains were coming I stuck it out.
 
You also can't count iso reps in with the rep totals to divide in to my working rep ranges. My benching didn't go above 15 reps yesterday. Average out my compounds then average out my iso, but combining the 2 to then equate my average workout pace I would suggest is a little misleading when summarising my overall workout.

112.8 this morning, not the best night's sleep for some reason but ready to go.
 
BarBell Rows - Pendlay: 10x20, 10x50, 6x70, 85x15, 14, 12, 11
Lat Pull Down: 6x#10, #13+5kg x18, 15, 13, 12
Rope Pull Overs: 10x#9, #12x17, 15, 14, 13
Dumb Bell Preacher Curl: 12.5s+1kg x18, 16, 14, 13
DB Hammer Drag Curl: 15s+1.25kg x17, 16, 15, 15
Seated Calf Raises: 10x20, 10x40, 60x18, 17, 16, 15, 17
 
Moving well on the broga today (before and after). No huge changes weight wise today just after the extra reps this week and will up next. Rows started feeling quite heavy but hit my groove after set one and banged some good work out there keeping things pretty tight. LPD starting to feel consistently better on the shoulder nowadays which is nice (still grinding but minimal pain). Lats getting a good pump by now. Added a set to pullovers this week, these clunk a bit more but gets the lats nicely engaged. Another rep jump on bicep work which was rather unexpected, preachers feeling pretty intense. Hammer drags not bad either. Chucked tomorrow's calf work in to today, Thursday's take a while ATM so this may save me 10mins. Heavier weight as they were fresh and all fine, popped in a 5th set.

Vestenders kicking in to overdrive reboot mode. Got a big meeting next week where we all have to be there... however, their care worker has rung and arranged at urgent at home visit with the mrs and me this week (and will try and get his dad in before the meeting too). Mrs was on the phone to his Dad last night as TH has a hospital appt for his eyes (due to being obese I can guarantee) and I'm working, the still GF can't be left alone with the baby and the Mrs has a huge auto immune flare up and cannot walk to work to collect the grand son so he is needed to step up.
 
Anyway... he and the social worker have noted how disgusting their flat is (altho TH constantly states he does EVERYTHING), his Dad noted crap left laying around that was there a week later untouched. The GF never goes along to drop off or pick up from nursery. TH has put on another 4kg since xmas and she's started smoking but for the second year running can't afford a birthday present for their kid (mrs has said if that happens she's on the phone to social). Huge concerns about emotional neglect and lack on socialising and interaction. TH has cancelled 3 of 5 meetings with his support worker who was already going out of his way to work him as he is technically above his age range.
 
This is just what we know now and not what will come to light on Friday - sounds ominous especially as it's so urgent to us and we're the rehousing option. And don't forget, this is while they are under a legal order where if anything they should be excelling in demonstrating just how much they want to learn, improve and keep their child above all else

Less than GVT but yeah, in a sweet spot at the mid-way, will start getting tougher now. Shoulder has it's moments but is certainly improved, I can move it thru a far larger range now that I could just get the odd pinch (which feels like nerve but almost too localised) and some grinding that sounds mank but it's becoming less and less of a factor when training

before I watched that I could of swore you were wearing gloves - nearly fell off chair ion shock but redeemed when I saw they were straps

I never know if the calves are doing Ok or if I'm just seeing what I wish to see LOL but as I have put on a good bit of weight and am not fearing that they look worse I can only take that as a small positive sign that they may be doing OK. I taped a few bits up at the start of the blast so I'll get a comparison re-measure soon.

112.8 today, could be another week where I don't quite scrape 113 again but all good. Moving my calf work to yesterday in order to save time back fired a bit, seemed to take forever today. Good session tho, couple of exercise tweaks left me properly battered.
 
Elevated Belt Squats: 10x20, 10x40, 6x60, 85x15, 14, 13, 12
Leg Extensions: 10x#12, #16+2.5kg x18, 16, 14, 13
Good Mornings, Hack: 10x80, 140x20, 18, 17, 17
Single Leg Ham Curl: #4x16, 15, 13, 14
Tricep Cable Ext (x-over): #3+3.5kg x18, 15, 13, 11
Decline Smith CG: 10x60, 80x18, 16, 14, 11
 
Broga mobility to begin with and all feeling good. Nailed my Belt squat set up finally I think, all nailed a slight form tweak that really upped the game on these. Warm ups all good and knee behaving, used my figure 8s to enable a good brace position keeping me back on my heels rather than over the bar and this was a bit of a game changer and quads were really engaged, as a result an extra reps were hard fought this morning. As the knee was behaving I got a bit brave (read 'foolish') on extensions and upped the weight. Ended out hitting more reps, knee was only a bit iffy on the starting rep and moved well after that (altho may be slightly more twingey on the 4th set), surprised and happy with that. GMs moved to today, got up to 140, 20 up on last week (that being a 1st time adaptor anyway) but hit the reps well, hams feeling it after every set. The result was not much extra to come on single curls, which I was fine with if it meant I had hit the hams hard, just 1 rep for the better there. Kept tri ext weight the same as I felt I'd pushed a bit quick here, did just about manage an extra rep on each set so all ok. Dec CG was up 5kg and didn't drop a rep until the 3rd set so all good there, also threw a 4th in despite having been in the gym for what seemed like a lifetime by now.

I think 16 weeks of blasting will probably be sufficient, getting bored of tren keeping me awake now LOL but if I get a bit more test (I need to order some soon anyway really, and maybe some deca for next blast) I could go for 20. This is week 15. 4 months is quite long enough tho I feel. And I have a few week window of 'blast gains' before I'm at cruise level too anyway, so...... yeah, last jab this weekend I think,
 
Tale of the tape may be in a week or 2. TBH with the drama that looks about to kick off tomorrow it may skip my mind so feel free to remind me

If dramas imminent, so is stress.. do you stress eat or do you not eat enough when stressed?

Yeh good idea to end it now, especially the tren!.. unless you use the 4 weeks extra test for an intense mini cut where the extra anabolic will help speed things up and allow extra slashing of cals without worry!?

I don't tend to stress eat or under eat TBH I've never been a trigger eater. I may eat less (or more, who knows) just from being less organised etc due to sh!t going on but not as a response to stresses

Definitely bigger, just a matter of how much bigger in the right way. When I cut I think that will be more interesting as way of analysis. But I will get the tape measure out again before that
