EQ was only 10 hitting week 12 now... Any meds like that tho is a poor bang for your buck, but if you want minimal sides with some slow and steady gains it does the job I guess.

Good on you for not letting it go re Stagecoach. I wouldn't either.
I also know what you mean about pocket money. Kids don't have the same social aspect to their evenings etc that we 40 somethings did as kids; it's completely different. We don't give our eldest pocket money and, now I've actually said that out loud, I've started to wonder why I'm still so skint.

Good stuff mate! Like the look of those crossover extensions.

I did laugh at the jumper though mate sorry!

Just one question... the upright rows I've always avoided as they make my shoulders click. Are you limiting your rom on purpose as I've always thought they are supposed to be done like this?

I use a wider grip and yes, my physio mate kindly reinforced my tech theory as that is as high as you need for lateral head engagement

Traps and delts (and biceps), but I don't need anything for traps really

On to week 2, and interestingly today's weigh-in is the heaviest Monday morning weight for a while. Still a svelte 102 tho.

Squat: 5x60, 80, 100, 122.5x 8, 8, 8, 8
SLDL: 8x70, 140x 8, 8, 8, 8
Leg Press: 8x200, 305x 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10
Inc CG: 6x50, 70x 8, 8, 8, 8, 8
DB Curl: 6x10s, 17.5s x 8, 8, 8, 8

An interesting second session on this workout, made slightly more interesting by an annoying sciatic type sensation in my right side (hip mainly). Weight wise all was well, 2.5 up on squats for the same sets was reasonable work especially with the achy hip. No surprises that SLDL were also uncomfortable and I was a good few KG too, better work weight but not a problem. Leg Press was up in weight and sets so that was the real tester, some sets more uncomfy than others but got it all done. Inc CG was up in weight to something more workable, also had an extra set to do, got easier as I went especially as the first set felt my back lock on one side (soon eased). Kept DB curl weight the same as more weight and sets on this would have been OTT this week, maybe next. More thorough rehab today, back issues have been due to neglecting my TVA work I think as mixing things up has left me missing out the necessary rehab work. Feel better now.

Nice work mate! Again love the squats!

I think I've been going too low on the old raised leg press, and think that's been aggravating my back. Going to try to stick with the ROM you do, as I'll be adopting that ex next cycle.

Squats are looking very good mate. Speed and drive out the hole right to the end is impressive

I think that’s a dig? Can’t be sure.

A dig? At DV? I would never! And I am very careful when discussing legs!

Ermmm... yes! Going too far down means my lower back starts to come in, much like it does if I go too low in the squat. Reducing ROM so the knee is about a right angle means I wont get that problem.

Solid graft dude...the sciatic thing sucks, it can really screw workouts up but session looks good regardless.

If your back starts to come in on a back supported exercise your load is too heavy mate. Don’t sacrifice form for weight! Your hips should pivot, your back should not move.

LOL...

You don't want your back rounding up off the seat. My ROM gets impeded by various things at various times. ATM my left ankle seems to be locking and obviously this sciatic thing today didn't help either... it's an awkward set up too that makes full depth almost impossible anyway without back rolling out and heels lifting up

It was more annoying because I knew exactly why I had it..... well, I think I knew, I'll find out on my B day but it does feel better already

I just can't picture my lower back not doing that unless my stance is so wide my knees come out to my ears!

Was feeling surprisingly up-beat this morning so the session was met with a warm welcome

Flat DB Press: 6x17s, 25s, 32s, 37.5s x8, 8, 8, 8, 8
T Bar Row: 5x25, 52.5x8, 8, 8, 8, 8
Inc DB Fly: 17.5s x12, 12, 12, 12
Parallel Chins: 35 reps 7, 7, 7, 7, 7
Concentration Curls: 15s x10, 10

Little pinchy in the shoulders today but nothing major. Flat pressing required an extra set today but I thought adding sets and 5kg jumps each week would soon see me hitting my limit so will go up in weight next week. Still made good work of it all, was tough but not ball busting, extra weight next week will be interesting. T bar row required both to go up but easier on this to add the increments, no issues tho altho I could still feel a background hint of the hip sciatic twinge. Flyes just required extra weight which was about right for week 2 I reckon, good deep stretches. Chins was targeting 35 reps this week, 5 up, so banged out 5x7. Instead of the higher reps standing curls I did last week I'll do these tomorrow and opted for the concentration curls today instead, for 3 days of bis in a row this seemed like the better middle workout for them, up in weight but just the 2 sets again. All good, worked on my infra afterwards a fair bit.

More brawn in the title!

I always thought pull-ups were underhand, and chin-ups we’re overhand. A quick google and I’m wrong! I upload as I’ve never been able to do either, never really looked into them too deeply! They looked good and strong. Great bicep builder
