Disaster?!!

As I was mixing up my latest batch of "bigfellas protein bars"
I noticed the whole mix was stickier than usual, I added a few more oats and carried on
After I finished I noticed I had used "golden poxy syrup" instead of honey! Argghhhh!
Trouble is it would break my heart throw a whole batch away!

What is the difference between the two- is it worth keeping my bars or are they better off binned now? anyone?

That was my question! will there be a problem? ....they haven't quite gone as solid as they normally do but they are looking a lot better now ( at one point during mixing i had the entire mix stuck to my hands! none of it would come off!,much to the delight of my wife & her freinds)
and they seem to taste just as good....whew! nope , sorry Goldenarrow, I'm keeping them now

Dammit, worth a try....no AFAIK they're both pretty much 100% sugar, so no difference.
