Distended belly

Hi

I seem to be getting this quite a lot recently a hard upper stomach and it sticks out more than normal sometimes after food but even this morning it was upon waking. Its not painful or does not give me cramps

staples
apples
bananas
isolate unflavoured
egg whites pasteurised
chicken
steak
sweet pots
veg generally green with some red
milk protein now and again
sometimes quark

any knowledge or input would be appreciated

thanks

Do you have any idea as to what food type could be the culprit? Any trends in terms of timing and eating habits? Regular on the toilet etc?

I don't tbh know - I was thinking maybe egg whites or lactose or maybe gluten - its a lottery

when I do have cheats e.g pizza and ice cream IBS kicks in ( well I assume its that cos I am on the potty for the rest of the night)

The only thing I can suggest is to try and eliminate a certain food for a week and see how you get on?

    yeah that's my thinking

its very difficult- I did the no eggs for a week did not notice much but I replaced eggs for breaky with oats and quark. TBH its something I don't want to face up to that I may be gluten intolerant as I love my food

The only help I could suggest is go Paleo for a couple of weeks - stick to meat, fish, fruit and veg only. Then re-introduce 1 thing at a time and see if anything triggers it.
