It's carbs that you don't want as your body will burn them for energy instead of fat.
However your body will be screaming for ptoein in the morning, and so whey would be good as it'll stop you going catabolic during exercise.
I'd have whey on wake
Then another whey immediately after, ideally with a few carbs (simple and complex).
