What's the best one you've had played on you, this is probably the only one for MT 😉

I once worked at Belfast zoo and one lunchtime we were cuing up for lunch, the older guys (I was 19) told me to ask for an "Ulster fry" but to stress the word "Ulster" several times as the lady was Scottish and might give me another fry with mushrooms and white pudding etc, unbeknown to me she had strong republican beliefs and didn't like loyalists, I think I said make sure it's an Ulster fry and not an Irish one about four times, dudes behind me were in fits, she knew the score though and never said anything, just looked at me blankly.

*Probably an in joke*

Dr Z
Almost as annoying as the millennial interpretation of "pranking", which is another area where this generation have dropped the ball considerably.

Elaborate?

In my office we had a right old time with pranks.

In ten years I've seen if go from an awesome workplace to now, where it seems like everyone is scared to offend each other. There's a noisy minority that seem to have eroded the right of free speech in this country.

It annoys me somewhat.

There was a team I worked closely with that played a prank on someone with no sense of humour at all, they said they was all going to the Christmas do in fancy dress as elves, they even bought an outfits and tried them in in the office so he would see, proper fooled him as he turned up dressed in full elf outfit whilst everyone else was in thier Sunday best.

He had a proper tantrum, called meetings with the managers and forced everyone who was in on it to give him an apology! Obviously spoilt the banter bus for everyone from that day forward

^^^ Good prank but lol.

We had one good fella on our shift, been around for years. Used to have banter with a scottish lass on our shift who gave as good as she got. Some knob took offence even though he wasn't directly involved, goes on long term stress leave and puts in a formal complaint. Kept harassing the bosses until this fella was forced to move shifts.

No wonder everyone is scared. It's a joke.

People need to remember just because someone is offended, doesn't automatically make them right.
