Do you swear much?

I am making a concerted effort not to swear as much as I usually do.

I feel that it can often undermine the point that you're trying to make, and it doesn't really sound nice.

Do you swear much?

Do you wish you didn't?

Do you wish you could stop, or have you tried?

Do you think it affects those around you in a negative way?

Way too much. To the point where all these wonderful words are a large part of my daily vocabulary and have almost forgotten the words I used to use in place of the swearing.

Rarely at home though....I seem to be able to stop when needed

It's finally arrived....PM Neb for swaps!

    All the F*cking time !!!!!!!!!

On a serious note, yes I do its a really bad habit my fiance is always on my case about my language, its got to the point where even all the lads at work comment on my language and there no saints,

Im not foul with it, I dont swear in business or in the company of strangers, I only swear when im in comfortable surroundings I do it subconciously it just flows through my sentenses.

I'm a regular customer of the F and C words but I work with one other guy who's quite a fan so it's happy days.

I do my best not to swear at home as we've got 2 little kids who will hoover up expletives and hand them back out.

I dont really mind that I swear and can control my usage to fit most oaccasions

Only at home. Mainly because my mum is a constant nag. I also swear at the smallest things at the top of my voice. If I dropped something, FOR **** SAKE!
If something doens't work for some reason, normaly down to my wrong doing I will swear at the object/thing repeatedly.

I only seem to do this at home though. Don't swear much out and about.

Yes I swear too much, don`t realise I`m doing it most times, I even went to an interview once and thought it went very well, until the interviewers gave me feedback afterwards and said`Do you realise you swore quite alot in that interview ?`I just laughed and walked off.

Have made conscious efforts to stop but old habits and all that.

Does it have a negative affect on others around me ? Yes, I found especially people who are not confrontational and also apparently people who know me well say that my bad language correlates to directly to how p1ssed off I`m am at something lol.

Some bloke cut me up the other day so without thinking I called him a stupid c*nt.Then looked to my side and saw my 14 year old daughter shaking her head disapprovingly at me.Felt awful.I swear way too much to be honest but starting to make an effort not to.Some situations call for ripe language though, its pretty unavoidable.Like hitting your thumb with a hammer.

Sure do and it amuses me when people bitch about how they find it offensive.

If it was simply one expletive after another, then fine, cry at leaisure, but there are words linking those swear words.
I also love the retards that say "I suppose you think you're clever do you?"
Well yes, actually I do. Perhaps it's that Honours Degree in Smugness that does it.

I could go on but I'd probably get one of those warning PM's as children might be reading this forum etc.

...the fact that those same children would be reading up on AAS and how to inject liquid donkey pills is irrelevant, but we mustn't swear around the poor little darlings.

    Do you swear much? Lots

Do you wish you didn't? No

Do you wish you could stop, or have you tried? No

Do you think it affects those around you in a negative way? I dont swear around people who I think it would really offend ie. elderly women

I swear a lot on here and I sometimes wonder why as it requires extra typing but I think it reflects how I would comunicate with the majority of people on here in person.

I swear a LOT. I'm worse at work I think, I am constantly swearing. Due to my job, I get very wound up and frustrated sometimes with goons on the phone and usually the only form of release I can find, is to swear excessively as soon as I put the phone down.

I swear loads, but I am cutting it down. I swear in front of the Mrs, my Mother and the in laws.........thankfully they think its funny. I now have my Mum swearing which always makes me laugh. I am going to try to cut it out full stop when children are on the way.
