Do you use sunbeds???

Do you use the sunbed? i have used them a few times over the years but since about 2 years ago have steered well clear of them due to all the skin cancer allogations, and also, i dont want to look like a shrivelled prune by the time im 30. Whilst a tan does make you look healthier, better muscle tone and maybe better looking to the opposite sex, i will no longer risk it due to the health risk, what are your views???

    I don't use them.

I used to lay in the sun a lot but it really mashes up your skin. This girl I worked with used to go on one twice a week and her skin looked like leather all pruned up. Horrible. She looked 20 years older.

I think you can control that somewhat through proper diet and not overdoing it.

Trick is not to get burned and take care of your skin.

    Do you really think so?

That's interesting. Plenty of water would help plus this girl used to eat crap and smoke like a chimney which wouldn't.

Psh..yeah man. Do you have any idea what kind of influence diet has on the AGEing process and all that?

Again, key is not to get burned..and using all those creams and stuff is crap IMO.

Water does help somewhat of course..that's just a fraction of it. Smoking can probably be less 'bad' than certain 'dietary habits' people have I believe, even exercise makes a difference... Not saying smoking is good either...just saying..

Yes I do. But you could eat the best in the world and the sun could mash you up faster than a bullet.

    Could you really?

Well, if you abuse it then yeah it could mash you up err 'faster than a bullet'
Though I do think that "not letting yourself get burned" and eating properly will limit it a great deal.

    Never again for me.

I started about 3 weeks ago using 12 mins eod, then went up to 12 mins ed after a week and after 3-4 more days of that i had the worst case of miliaria rubra ive seen (even looking on the internet at pictures of patients).

Completely ruined my plans that i had, i had red pimples all over my chest, abs, top of quads, lats and arms and after hydrocortisone doing f all for it and now been on stronger meds which ive almost completed the thing is virtually gone. Its only on my arms a bit now and just looks a bit like eczema, slightly reddish skin.

    Ruined my plans, never again.
