Does this chest/tris workout seem to much??

Here is the deal. I spoke with one of the bigger guys at my gym today. He is huge and seems to know his stuff on body building. Plus he won the bench press contest there last summer. Here is the chest/ tris routine that he suggested I do for bulking/firming.

Incline bench 3X7
Flat Bench 3X7
Incline BB 2X7
Flat BB 2X7
BB Flys on adjustable bench 4X7 droping 1 notch until flat
Scull crushers 3X10
Overhead arm extensions (BB) 3X10
Dips 3X10

This is the current routine that him and another huge guy use and they are pretty freakin big with low body fat. Does this sound like to much for one workout? Thanks for the input!!

I would say yes, though im not much of an expert. IMHO, these guys are on juice, thats why they can do this much without overtraining an

Yep, IMO it is easy to see that a natural trainer would just burn themselves out on that routine.

What's more, those guys have progressed to that level of training over a few years and I doubt they started off by doing that routine.

yup i agree, too much unless assisted. 3 exercises per body group is all thats usually required.

I am not a total newbie to lifting and using gear. Just been 3 or 4 years since last time gear was used and over a year since lifting/dieting seriously. Would this be to much if I started gear soon or what should I cut back? Thanks

I'd stay away from gear for at least the next 12 months while you find out where your natural potential is again. You'll waste loads of natural growth and strength gain potential if you juice too soon. If you want mass and strength gains quickly then try a 5x5 routine with a strong gaining diet - high protein, high complex carb, moderate fats - and you'll kick some ass in next year's Benching competition

Id agree with that. For the chest day, I do just flat bench, and occasinally some flyes.
