Ok, just did my first workout, legs.

Realise I made a mistake though. Did the 40 reps (or tried too), then triple drop of the isolation exercises. However, I then did a straight set and a triple drop set of both Squats and SLDLs. It felt good though, legs were trembling, would this be too much Tony?

All up it only took 30 mins, see tomorrow what the DOMS are like!

I didn't do calves, plan to do them tomorrow with chest, will that be ok?

Im surprised you walked out of the gym mate.
That must of hurt, im working my way back into squats and SLDL so that would be a bit much for me.See how your DOMS go and judge it from there.

Not feeling it as badly as my normal leg workout so far.

Just did chest and some calves. It went really quick, but it was really intense. Felt good.

Just did the back workout. Felt really good until I got to the deadlifts. Because of the pre-exhaust, I went lightist (315 lbs). As I was about to lift, some ****er came up and told me not to do deadlifts, as they'll hurt my back.

This guy is about 40 and built like a stick insect that has eaten McDonalds everyday. I told him I've been doing them for a while and I've have experinced lifters ok my form. Then he stood there and watched me lift. Fcuked my entire set. Only got 5 out. Motherfcuker.

If you're capable of doing this much work you are not working with as much intensity as you could be. You will find that your workouts will improve dramatically with time - it takes a while to get used to training this way but it is well worth persevering.

Having said that, I sometimes find that I haven't worked as intensely as I could have so will add an additional set or two to ensure I go to complete failure.

Hope this helps mate and good luck with the programme.

Guys quick question,
Missed legs today due to prior commitments biting me in the ass,and i just wanted to know what your opinion is on the following:
Do i now just train legs, delts and tris, back and tris,on back to back days?
Or just stick to normal workouts and miss legs intirely this week??
Just curious to know what you guys do when a workout is missed??

I can relate, althou i usually just ignore people like that.

stick with the original program. DOesn't matter if you miss a routine as long as you don't make it a habit IMO.

Felt good on all lifts.

Standing out on my front yard tonight, off in the distance its just one mass orange glow from the bushfires.Bringes it right home how close they are when you can see huge plumes of smoke only about 15km from your door. Luckly im in a built up area so there is only a slim chance that the house could be affected.Still a awesome sight of mother natures power.
See you all tomorrow.
