Drawing money from Post Office

I have a National Savings Investment Account, (with not much in it) and ideally need to draw out some cash cash either this week or early next week to help for spending money when i go abroad next weekend.

Now I know you usually have to give 30days notice, but cant you draw out cash there and then if you have your ID with you? and forfit 30 days worth of interest? The Cash Warrant info i have here is rather confusing me

DO i still have to give notice and if so how much?

Wasnt wanting all thats in there just half, so I'm not wanting to close the account, I just wondered what time period it takes to get money if you dont apply for a crossed warrant?

I suppose i need to a cash waarant but its still going to take time i guess???

Yeh was about 2 years ago though, did it about 5 times in 1 year till it was all gone.
Might of stopped the loop hole now eg notice to close the account etc

I just went down with proof of address and my passprt etc
