Drinking after training

Im due to train tomorrow night, currently doing fulll body 3 times per week. However in the night i have a work party to go to. I would normally not drink as i rarely drink anymore anyway, but the catches are:

1. Free bar (we have the bar booked out and its free all night)
2. We're sharing the bar with the after party for Miss Wales 2005

So... I'm guna be very tempted to drink to get the courage needed to talk to these hotties. I really don't know what to do, as i'm not the most confident of people when it comes to talking to people i don't know but this seems like far to good opportunity to pass up.

Any advice?

It would be a bit of a waste to train and drink, you probably won't gain much benefit from it. I say take the night off for once, have a good time and a few drinks, maybe more

I've been in that situation a few times. Thing I have found is that if you say no too many times you start getting very depressed, so if you think its a party you think you will be gutted you missed, then my advice is go.

I get drunk quicker if I start drinking straight from the gym so watch out!

Hmm, I dont want to miss the session, because if i drink i know i wont make it up until sunday earliest so that'll make my whole routine out of sync, so I'll train, eat, then go out, have a drink or 2 and see how it goes i guess.

Thanks for the advice guys, i'll post any pics i get of the girls if it all goes well

i cannot believe ur asking this. i dream of scenarios like this. DRINK DRINK DRINK. just keep thinking to urself that rest is sometimes better than training. Muscles grow when they rest! Let us know if u crash and burn or if u become mr wales! haha
