Driving Licence - provisonal entitlements

On my paper driving licence, I have the following catergories listed under 'Provisional Entitlement':
A
BE
GH

'A' refers to motorbikes:

Don't quite understand the link, but does this mean I can ride my Vespa (125cc) with L plates on?

I did a CBT a few years ago but they only last 2 years and mine has expired, but I have 'A' provisional entitlement on my licence valid until 2054.

Yes you can ride your Vespa 125  ,but you would need your CBT to be up to date.
