ECA stack? Whats the crack?

Quick breakdown of my background. 23 years old. havent been training for years. Got fat 6'1" 17 stone about 25% BF. 20 smokes a day. you know the score.

i split up with my missus of 4 years and rather than hit the booze i'm trying to get fit again. I been running a fair bit usually for about 30 mins. Its killing me at the moment as I havent done any cardio for so long but i'l getb through that.

Im looking at possibly taking an ECA stack to speed up fat loss. A friend reccomended this to me but I know little about them. im currently on a Ketogenic diet carbing up once a week.

Could someone just give me a quick run through how these things work etc and are there any dangers?

Apparently ECA isn't actually that useful for people above 20% bodyfat or there abouts.
Get your diet and training sorted first, then ECA will help.

Good idea. Blood Pressure can be a problem with some people, as you may have read.
Post back and tell us how you do. Good luck!

ECA can make you jittery, nervous and can cause sleeping problems.

All you need at your stage is a good diet, a good training plan and some patience.

    where are you jogging??

reason i ask is, if your in the gym doing it then try splitting up your cardio into different excerises as you should get more out of it. so, instead of jogging on the treadmill for 30mins, do 10mins on the treadmill then 10 on the rowing machine (without a rest) then 10 on the crosstrainer, again with no rest in between. you should get more out of that and its only taking you the same amount of time.

post your diet up in the diet section aswell would be a good plan.

Im pretty much in the same boat Plucky! Let myself go heavily after uni, but have a good understanding of supplements and nutrition, just lack the time at the mo! Will be sorted very soon!

I take ECA and find it does work for me, so long as ur keeping an eye on your diet and dont let it surpress it too much. It almost works for me as a placebo to, in that when im on it i feel like im getting results!

But like the guys above say, get the diet and training plan sorted and you'll def see results.

Let me know how it goes, im starting back on in 2 weeks!

    Good luck

    Going to leave the ECA's.

Ive already dropped nearly 2 inches from my belly (I measure around my belly button not my waist) So I will lay off of them until a possibly hit a plateau.

Im jogging on the roads and accross local fields at the moment.
