EDIT: Frankies program and plateau.

Hit a wall and wanting to change things up because the past 4 weeks have not yielded any strength gains.
What should I do? What did you do?
I'm stuck mainly on D/B press; 5reps, 5reps, 5reps, 4reps, 2reps (the last set i'm fried!).
Should I introduce some shocks, change things around, eat more, what? Appreciate it lads and please help!!!
I was told this is the problem with a 5x5, or, is this just something that heppens? Do I need to take action or will I get past it? - is it just a slump?
If you could also answer the following that would be a big help also. Cheers
If it is 6-8 reps, why not put it in Frankies routine? ie: rather than 5x5, have 4x6 or 3x8?
Has anyone periodised Franies routine? ie: if I get tired of Frankies, maybe periodising and changing around rep/set ranges would be better than changing programs.
Can Frankies program be periodised you all think or is it purely for a 5x5 strength style training regime?
