You can eat anything you like when dieting, just some foods will provide more satiety and fewer calories than other foods.
Such as nuts = High in calorie, wont satisfy hunger very much.
Vegetables = Low on calorie, will fill you up with plenty of fibre and "volume".
Just factor them into your diet appropiately. You can always remove yolks when making omletes and scrambled egg, i go for a 5:1 egg white: yolk ratio for scrambled egg personally.
