RE: Exercise for neck muscles
Can anyone recommend some good exercises to exercise my the neck muscles. I don't have access to a head strap so any suggestions would be most welcome.
I lie on a flat bench with a weight plate resting on my forehead (use a towel) and extend my chin to my chest. You can also use a lying leg curl for the back of the neck. Just lie the opposite way you would when doing leg curls, put your head on the pad and push your head straight up. Works quite well.
A lot of gyms have a four-way neck machine, but if yours does not, the above are good substitutes.
