from what i gather you are into unique houses

do you know cheadle at all? there is a cracking house there, i keep meaning to get a photo but as i am usually about half an hour late for work it doesnt seem the right time

it has pillars, curved areas, flat rooves, pitched rooves and other unique stuff

unfotunately it is not for sale so i cannot obtain an internet pic if you are in the area anytime soon take a look

I'm originally from Cheadle, is it white? there's two places I can think of like that; one opposite the entrance to the village hotel and swimming baths and another just off Broadway near ladybarn school....or maybe it's another one?

it may sound daft for having lived there a long time, but I never went to Abney Hall, it's a park and big mansion house isn't it?

Some of you guys are really showing your age lol, Abney hall etc has been a call/business centre for at least 9 years.

There are some nice looking places on Style road between Gatley and Heald Green too.

yeah that's a nice bit too

round Bruntwood park there's some nice ones too, I tend to find Cheadle and Gatley suffer from being close to Whythenshawe though (no offence to anyone from there)

I didn`t mate, that`s awful, wouldn`t take a genius to know where to start looking though.

That Habitat, if it`s the one near the old Ingersoll Rand building, I went once probably over 25 years ago, it was rubbish and expensive rubbish at that.

Don`t know what it`s like now but it never had a great reputation but maybe we were just cheapskates.

ah, so you have your suspects? I don't really know any goings on round there

Think that Habitat has now become exclusively a clearance shop for end of lines and stuff like that, don't know why I'm going on about it, I just find it a weird place for a Habitat lol.

theres two parks round there apparantly, one near where im grafting on the doors, the other was where the 70 year old woman got jumped

i think they got someone for the 70 odd year old but not sure if the other is linked in

im trying to think of what the road is called tuc, the house in question is an attractive brown colour, with sort of pillars on eac side at the gables with white bits on them, it looks like the kind of house that would win a prize if there was a prize available for best looking house

it is nearly opposite some health club that is set back from the road, after the little village where the weavers pub used to be on the corner

I haven`t got a clue mate, just instincts lol.

Yeah I know what you mean about it being there, when it first opened there about 30 years ago ( when it was considered posh) if you `looked` local they wouldn`t even let you in.

    Used to live in Lymm.

Plyed rugby in all them areas. Cheadles quite nice. Apart from Lymm wouldnt have minded living in Wilmslow.

Played at William Hulme near Whalley Range. Weird school you wouldnt expect it to be there by looking at it.

Our bro was GMP at the time and wouldnt come down to watch me in case he got regonised LMAO. Think he was being a little overzealous.

If he was there between 1990 and 2000 there`s a good chance I know him lol. I know what you mean about the school though, great reputation etc yet about a mile from one of the moet violent estates in the country.

Think he would maybe only have just been out of training in 2000. He was at Didsbury.
