FINALLY!! A 6 plate per side deadlift!!

Did it this Saturday in competition. Noone else in my division however.
Missed a squat for depth and passed on my 3rd bench attempt so I would have
the gas for my deads.
Ended with a sq485, bench 303, dead 585 = 1372 total / I was capable of a 1400+
But my main goal was to hit my deadlift mark so I'm happy.......

thanks. I use a Titan Centurian. My best squat without suit is 470, I've done a 525 suited this year. Bench...I hate the FCKING shirts. I did 300 raw 2 weeks ago and I had trouble with 303
with shirt on. This was the first meet I tried with a deadlift suit which I got a few weeks ago. I used it once before comp. I hope to lean up a bit more and enter 198-220 class on next contest and hopefully keep my weights around the same. 1 more year to be a masters :)))

PICTURE! Did you get a picture? Man ive only ever passed the 6 plate a few times and that was with squat, before the army and accident. It feels great huh? I love the way the bar starts to arc, especially if you dont have a high test-weight bar. I've gotten close before and stayed at that for I think around 6 weeks and could never breech the 6 plate mark. No matter how hard I tried.
Damn, again congrats and TAKE PICTURE! they are great to show. especially if your the busted bloody nose with broken bloodvessels type of person aka me

There a National AAU comp in October 05. If I could just lean up to 219, and pull a 607
that would be an American record for 198-220 SubMasters. I really think its going to take me
at least another year to get there as a 220 lifter. Maybe I should adopt some more radical training methods like Westside, chains and stuff :)))
Or I could just train nothing but deads....nnnaahhhh

honestly I love the concept of westside. Overall I think it gives you a greater workout being you get constant increases of weight to help you through your trouble spots all the while not sacrificing gains in other spots of your lift.

I'm definetly going to try heavier core work (hypers) I have some strongman toys to mess with and I'M GOING TO DO MORE HEAVY, HEAVY PARTIALS!!!
I WILL do a 1500 total in state 2006 comp or get hurt trying :))
