well its a start , but overeem , handsome as he is , will get submitted pretty quick ..then again ,who doesnt !!

poor old fedor is almost too good at the mo , and most of the heavies seem poor in comparison

    Real shame in my opinion.

It looks like we'll never really get to see Fedor face the best there is out there.

It's a shame but not surprising. I wonder what sort of money is on the table for the co-promotion? Can't imagine the co-promotion deal making Fedor any more money than he would have made in the UFC.

No-one in Strikeforce to challenge Fedor, can't imagine they will get anyone either.

the thing that often mildly annoys me is that fedor must have plenty of dosh , must have some advisors that want the cash , coz when hes retires / gotten **** , he will give up any amount of cash for his 'top' years

sod it , im gonna facebook dana and twitter fedor and sort this **** out

Agreed mate, this along with the UFC situation all smacks of too much "management" surrounding Fedor

Does Fedor himself really care that much about whether M1 "co-promotes" his fights? I'd be suprised

I agree with you Drab about management, Fedor seems like a laid back kind of guy and lets his people make the fights.

I wonder what contract Fedor has with M1. They wanted to co-promote with UFC and will have expected a big cut of that and rightfully the UFC refused.

Dont think its fair to take it out on Fedor, Dana can preach how ever much he wants about Fedor been a p*ussy yet he fought all the dangerous guys in PRIDE and would be willing to fight anyone. Surely its because his management cant co promote with UFC, thats only thing i can think of

I believe Fedor has a financial share in M1?

Hence a co-promotion could help M1 to grow as a company, allowing his future revenue to increase, and a steady stream of cash once he's retired?

Would love to see Fedor move to the UFC so he can destroy that plonker that is Brook Lesner. I cant stand that man and want to watch him get taught a lesson

Fedor after a previous attempt by White to get him said "UFC tried to f**k me". I think Fedor and M1 wanted to teach Dana a lesson in that "you pay way over the odds or we wont be fighting for you, and if you dont we'll go elsewhere but wont ask for nearly as much".
Dana White can say what he wants about Fedor and the competition he will fight, fact is he offered Fedor more cash than any fighter he has, he also tried recently to sign Overeem who knocked him back aswell.
