Feeling drained with this new diet.

Since i've cut out carbs from my breakfast i feel week, small, moody and occasionally get headaches until my pre workout meal which consists of carbs.

This is my diet and stats: http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/m_1913970/tm.htm

My question is shall i lower the fats and have carbs at breakfast, because I felt alot better when i was.

Thanks.

depends completely on your goals matey....wouldnt cut out fats though...but why are you having so little carb? going to an extreme where it leaves you feeling bad is not neccessary unless you plan to compete when cut. why not add a bit more carbs into your diet...may make the cut a bit longer but will make it more bearable

Whats your stats? Do you need to cut out carbs to reach your goal?

Thanks for the replies. I'm not gonna cut out fats completely just lower them slightly. The reason why my carbs are lowish is because i'm on hoilday in 7 weeks so the quicker i can cut the better.

I am mate. Consuming about 400-500g carbs and 3000-3500kcals on that day.

Starting tomorrow then back with the oats at breakfast, and possibly PPWO aswell instead of the fats there.

    I won't completely, i'll just lower them.

    E.g. now i'm consuming 90g each day which = 810kcals.

I'm gonna lower this to about 65g and up the carbs so that i'm still consming 2150kcals a day.

    What do you think?

TT, is there an advantage or disadvantage to having low carbs whilst cutting as opposed to low fats?

Agree with what TT says, I'm currently carb-cycling following a similar pattern to TT's suggested one in his article. I love it and it works! As you're never far from a high carb day! I've currently lost the best part of a stone, find this very easy to stick to.

low carbs can be very bad for some people

its just in the 21st century carbs have become the new fat and much maligned by the media

    dont get technical

look at your diet before.....why go balls out now just becuase you think its what bodybuilders do?

    keep it simple
