Feeling good when you do good things

Quite bizarre how you can feel when doing little things to help people.

Not in a smug way, just, well, sort of, er.... good. And happy.

Went to a gym member's house earlier to put her wardrobe door back for her in her bedroom. She's a pensioner and her husband has cancer and isn't well, bless him.

Took two minutes to fix it back on properly, then I got the guided tour of her immaculate house, of which she was proud.

Bizarrely, fixing one hinge and her having someone to show her house off to has made her day. Which has made mine.

Feel quite glowy now.

I've got a load of laundry that needs doing, a freezer that wants defrosting and a toilet cistern that requires cold-hand-plunge action to stop it pissing water everywhere.

What time can you nip round by?

Aye, thanks once again mate - another Dvdman money-saving and gym equipment-fixing production. You really do have the most bizarre equipment in your car mate - if it's not a capacitor for a 1978 dehumidifier, it's a bungee cord to replace a spring.
