    yes

    i read this too

it seems the chelsea officials took him there for the weekend to ensure he would sign for chelsea

one weekend in manchester should be enough to ensure he signs on the dotted line for the blues

if you look behind him in that picture hugh grant is strolling by...i believe man city have been following him since january window closed

is he there to sign i wonder

Why dont you rate him? He has a comparable goalscoring record to Wayne Rooney at the level he is playing at.

Quick question: Would you have Cesc Fabregas in your midfield or Darren Fletcher?

The point I was making was that there are actually a few successful Spaniards in the top flight.

Would you like to see Eto'o at Old Trafford, or because Djemba-Djemba wasnt too great there is a chance that he might flop?

he came to eastlands to be fitted up for his new top, however he wanted a guaranteed start for every game he's fit
we couldnt offer him that clause as we have corradi and sammaras so we could only offer every other game

he wasnt happy so is signing for united with rooney coming the other way

Could you name some of the spanish strikers who have flopped?

I'm struggling to think of more than one..

overall spanish players haven't done great but we've never really imported the top ones.

theres only forlan that came over

the rest of the flops have mainly been players that have come over from seria a

other flops include kleberson, crespo, djemba djemba, bakayoko, juninho (second time round), that ajax player that went to chelsea then went to athletico, corradi, dabo, samaras, etc

a wee bit off topic but could any man utd fans or anyone give me thir verdict on fletcher?
as a scot its great to have someone who plays at the top top level playing for our national side and for scotland he often does well apart from the last game at the faeros where i thoght he was poor!
ferguson seems to like him allot and i thought he was fantastic in the 7-1 win over roma but he never really gets a mention!

man utd fans it would be intresting to hear your views please?

Forlan is Uruguayan and was bought from an Argentinian club, Reyes was a winger for Sevilla.

Obviously there's Morientes but is there anyone else?

Whathisname from Liverpool might also count (scored the goal against Juve, his name has gone from me), but again he was mainly played on the wing at Barcelona
