Fitness modelling question - How to do it?

Since I have been cutting up i have had loads of positiive comments from different people and a few have suggested to make the most of my body and try and get some work doing fitness modelling.

I have never considered this but I am willing to at least have a bash.

How do people get into it?

Any suggestions on people to contact?

Cheers.

I know Mens Health does a modeling bit but i was reading about it and they do drug tests in the interviews

I dont think everywhere would do it like that. I would do what Dave says get a portfolio and send it off

    Good luck with it anyway

The magazines will just use an agency, dont bother sending your pic to the magazine headquarters.

Find an agency, as kitty says, nikki runs her own modelling website, try there mate.

for a portfolio approach a colloege student studying photography and then you can get it for free! iv done this before and the pics were alot better than an "experienced" photographer as he put everything into it as was very enthusiastic.

I done a modeling job thru nikki before (still owe her 35quid commission! I need to get round to that), and shes very good, and knows people. So give her a shout, or get her to have a look at this thread.

    ditto that LOL

My friend has just had a shoot for the front cover of men's health and he didnt get tested..... which is a very good job

also he got the casting just through his normal modelling agency not a fitness specific one.

the pay aint that hot either. nothing to get too excited about. but still good to say he's been on the front cover.
