Hi redwing -

Nobody has actually enrolled. I'm very surprised I was a very active member on MT since 2003!! There was always people asking to get qualified as a PT's. I think people are just suspect it looks too good to be true.

In the meantime FFUK have gone from strength to strength and I'm run off my feet running the Northern operations.
We now run a 7 week model with full time, part time and weekend courses available.
Locations are across the North:
-          1 academy in Manchester
-          2 academy’s in Salford
-          1 academy in Stockport
-          1 academy in Liverpool (new)
-          1 academy in Leeds (new)
I think I'll take control of Birmingham very soon also.

The rest of the academys are in London and Bournemouth.

Great news for FFUK yesterday though...
I joined Focus Fitness UK when the northern operations was about to close down, and less than a year later FFUK have just been short listed as finalists as one of the best training providers in the UK. That's us in the top 1%!!!

If anyone is interested in getting qualified as a PT - give my office a bell on 0161 669 4707

I must admit the too good to be true line did cross my mind.

Is there any info on the London courses?

Did anyone go for this?

Probably not the answer you are looking for, I did enquire, but it wasn't for me.

I already have a decent career, and PT is just something I would want to do on the side mostly for my own enjoyment, with any income being a bonus. For this reason I was looking at part time courses, but it was hard to find a suitable arrangement.

Also, if you don't have the cash for the course, it would be a pretty good deal, but its easier and cheaper for me to pay for a training course up front, than to have this loan, and replay the money later when I am earning. Particularly as I wasn't planning to quit my current job, as I could never match my current income from being a PT, at least not in the short/medium term unless I became a celebrity trainer.

Is a part time course in Birmingham ever likely to happen?

I'm in a similar position, so when I saw a part-time course at a college a 40 minute drive away, I jumped at the chance. There are loans available for my course, but once again I can pay upfront and then forget about it. Can see it being helpful for those who can't, but I'm not convinced it doesn't become a problem for some.
