Forearms

Hello all,

I would like to learn excercises to increase forearm mass. I have dumbells, barbels, bench pressing kit with armcurl pad.

I dont go to the gym so are there any excercises I can do at home. I would like my forearms to be as strong as baseball bats.

Thanks in advance

Alrite m8, u could try reverse bb curls, db hammer curls, hav alook at the links noname gav u. Also deads, bent over bb rows and heavy shrugs hit forearms pretty nicley too IMO.

i haven't got a link, i'm afraid; but none of the ones above is what i mean by lever work.

there is stuff on the web, though, because i've seen it before. having probably been pointed at it here. there's a guy with a specialist website, as i recall.

Hold a sledgehammer at arms length in 1 hand, with the hammer perpendicular to the ground. Bed your wrist forward, to the sides, whatever; then bring them back to the top.

Cool. Our Karate system works those. We use a stone weight on the end of a stick. We make them out of concrete and large dowel. In Okinawa they were called Chi ishi.

I usely do a bit of forearm work wen i do back and bi's at the end of the workout, but i find most exercise's hit my forearms a bit. So dunno if it matters when u train them? IMO would advise u train them at the end of the workout tho.

we were doing a one handed thing with a sledgehammer at work the other day

hold it at the end with the hammer at the top and bring it to the nose

not really a strngth thing but good for a party game as someone ALWAYS drops it on their nose
