COME ON RED MEN! I can't wait for the season to kick off. Really looking forward to seeing Gonzales play and quietly confident that Bellamy can do good things at liverpool. I'm just waiting for my Fan card to arrive so I have a chance of seeing some more games this season.

the championship should be quite good this year. Got some good teams down there this season. Expectations? To come back up in the Premiership, we finished last season on a good note, hopefully we can carry this on (we just beat Boston 4-1, so its a start)

    Regards,

Im a Newcastle fan, so hopefully we can actually have a good start to a new season for the first time in a long while.

Whilst i have my doubts about the players that Roeder can attract to the club, and how successful he will be with us, he knows what is needed in my opinion, he knows what the crowd expect, he knows what the locals and Newcastle fans expect and i dont think he will want to settle for mid table mediocrity.

He seems to be trying to get 100% out of everyone, and trying to get players to the club that aren't pre-madonnas, and actually want to play for the club and want to do well.

Scott Parker has just been appointed our new captain which is a great decision.

No one is going to touch chelsea this year, they have signed the best players in their positions in the world that on top of a squat already riddled with high quality players, the rest have no chance. If Man utd can sign a few good players, like gatusso, tores etc they we can give them a challange but i think even with an improved squad from last season we would stil come second. So far liverpool have the best chance to come 2nd this season because man utd and arsenal dont have storng squads, you would be extremly optamistic to think liverpool can even come close to chelsea.

I dont know why everyone thinks this Liverpool have far better players and a manager who has been better than Wenger and Fergie in the last two years.

I think this could be our (Liverpool's) year we've added some quality players to our squad and i dont think Chelsea have significantly improved, we were only 9 points behind them last year and players like Gonzalez and Bellamy could have made those extra 9 points.
