Fruit Smoothies

I'm thinking of getting a smoothie maker - anybody got any good recipes they'd like to share [?]

    Banana n Fruit Shake

    Mix approx 75-80 grams Vanilla Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake according to your shakes directions eg, with water or skim milk. Then, add ½ ripe banana, ½ cup chopped pineapple, four frozen strawberries, and three ice cubes. Blend at high speed for 45 seconds and serve.

    Cinnamon Shake

    Mix approx 75-80 grams Vanilla Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake according to your shakes directions eg, with water or skim milk. Then, add ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, one teaspoon fat-free Butter Buds, and three ice cubes. Blend at high speed for 45 seconds and serve.

    Lime Shake

    Mix approx 75-80 grams Vanilla Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake according to your shakes directions eg, with water or skim milk. Then, add two tablespoons frozen lime juice, one graham cracker (four small squares), and three ice cubes. Blend at high speed for 45 seconds and serve.

    Peach Smoothie

    Place a serving of your favorite vanilla meal-replacement powder in a blender. Add water and blend as directed until smooth. Then add one cup of nonfat peach yogurt and three ice cubes, and blend for an additional 45 seconds.

    Plum and Lemon Shake

    Shake 2 scoops vanilla flavor whey protein powder
    1 ripe plum, pitted
    juice of 1 lemon
    16 ounces ice water
    1/2 cup ice cubes

    Put the lot into your blender. Yummo!


    Berry Shake

    2 scoops vanilla flavor whey protein powder
    8 raspberries
    4 strawberries
    15 blueberries
    16 ounces nonfat milk
    1/2 cup ice cubes

    Combine in your blender



    Peanut Butter Chocolate Shake

    2 scoops chocolate flavor whey protein powder
    1 teaspoon creamy peanut butter
    16 ounces nonfat milk
    1/2 cup ice cubes

    Combine in your blender

    After weight training shake

    350 ml skim milk
    2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
    1 Banana
    Some low-fat strawberry yogurt
    flax seed oil

    Combine in your blender

    Pina Colada Shake

    1/2 can crushed Pineapple - in natural unsweetened juices
    1/2 Tsp of coconut flavoring
    1/2 cup Crushed Ice
    1 Packet of artifical sweetner
    1-2 scoops Vanilla Protein Powder

    Combine in your blender

    Apple Shake

    2 Tbsps Frozen Apple Juice
    1 Graham Craker (4 small squares)
    2 Ice Cubes
    12 Ounces Of Ice Cold Water
    Approx 65 grams of Vanilla Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake

    Mix all Ingredients in a blender for 45 seconds.

    Coffee Shake

    1 Tsp Instant Coffee or 1/4 Cup Of Brewed Coffee
    2 Ice Cubes
    12 Ounces Of Ice Cold Water
    Approx 65 grams of Vanilla Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake

    Mix all Ingredients in a blender for 45 seconds.

    Chocolate / Coffee Shake

    1 Tsp Instant Coffee or 1/4 Cup Of Brewed Coffee
    2 Ice Cubes
    12 Ounces Of Ice Cold Water
    Approx 65 grams of Chocolate Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake

    Mix all Ingredients in a blender for 45 seconds.

    Orange Shake

    2 Tsps Of Frozen Orange Juice
    2 Ice Cubes
    12 Ounces Of Ice Cold Water
    Approx 65 grams of Vanilla Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake

    Mix all Ingredients in a blender for 45 seconds.

    Mint Chocolate Shake

    1 - 2 Drops Of Mint Extract
    2 Ice Cubes
    12 Ounces Of Ice Cold Water
    Approx 65 grams of Chocolate Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake

    Mix all Ingredients in a blender for 45 seconds.

    Tropical Banana Shake

    1/2 Banana
    2 Tsps Of Frozen Orange Juice
    2 Ice Cubes
    12 Ounces Of Ice Cold Water
    Approx 65 grams of Vanilla Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake

    Mix all Ingredients in a blender for 45 seconds.

    Apple Cider / Nutmeg Shake

    1/4 Cup Of Apple Cider
    2 Dashes Of Nutmeg
    2 Ice Cubes
    12 Ounces Of Ice Cold Water
    Approx 65 grams of Vanilla Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake

    Mix all Ingredients in a blender for 45 seconds.

    Chocolate Pops or Icicles

    1/2 Cup Soy Or Non-Fat Milk (For Thickness)
    1 Packet Of Fat-Free Jell-O Pudding (Chocolate)
    2 Ice Cubes
    12 Ounces Of Ice Cold Water
    Approx 65 grams of Chocolate Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake

    Mix all Ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy. Place in a popsicle tray and place in freezer. Let stand for 4 hours or until completely frozen. To remove from tray, place frozen Lean Body Pops under warm tap water for a few seconds. Twist to remove.

    Tropical Fruit Shake

    Mix approx 75-80 grams Strawberry Low Carb, Low Fat, Protein Shake according to your shakes directions eg, with water or skim milk.Then, add 1/4 cup frozen, unsweetened peaches, 1/4 cup pineapple, and 3 ice cubes. Blend at high speed for 45 seconds and serve. You can also use Vanilla Protein shake for this as well.

    Bought a smoothie making machine yesterday - lol think i'm gonna have to go on a bulking diet - blooming delicious!

    NEver even crossed my mind to mix PB with anything in the blender but im a give it a try. =)
