    glycine ..

helps to reduce immonia build up (toxins) therefore reducing fatigue.

its morehelpful for indurance rather than strength.

so more like a 20rep max.

Never used Gakic myself.  It was discontinued before I had the chance.

    Look into beta alanine.

i would say best supplement for me pre workout was h+blocker, does the trick for me, helps endurance, power, strength, recovery.

out of the 2, i would go for h+blocker rather than gakic because i know it works, i tried gakic and i cant really comment on any improvements or gains ... because i never saw any, still got half a tub left.

lol .... h blocker is an iSatori product, they were the first to discover the affects of beta alanine on performance and made the first carnosine boosting product on the market.

as far as im aware i believe thats the case, so really, iSatori is the dogs..

in a nutshell, beta alanine (carnosine) boosts muscle strength, power, endurance, recovery etc...

There's lots of companies who still make it bud - CNP, USN, Sci-MX...I think Muscletech still do as well. They hold the patent from Florida Uni for it.

Sorry, I meant an affordable version.  Judging from the feedback; the 'branded' versions are far too expensive for the actual effect the product exhibits.  I was referring to Gakic from MP

Actually its more the other way around - gakic is an immediate (ie. pre-workout) strength booster. Not tried it (yet) myself but it has a great reputation among some of our regulars

I tried 2 different gakics.muscle tech and cnps.
I felt stronger on the cnp gakic, but felt nothing at all on the muscle tech product (it was not cheap either)

CNP Gakic is the dogs dick (exuse my french)
Recently tried GF but not a patch in my opinion on Gakic.
You'll have to get past the smell and taste first, but it isnt too bad when you get used to it.
A very underrated product in my opinion.

Just out of curiosity what sort of gains did you get on the CNP gak? I've been thinking about trying it for a while but even the people at CNP say the taste is something to be reckoned with!

I got a free sample of the CNP one from New Image Supplements.  Know what people mean about the smell/taste but it blew my socks off! Definitely worth a go if you can get some.

It's not impossible... it just takes longer than you think!

I've deffinatly got stronger using Gakic,  weights have gone up slightly, nothing massive , but only since using Gakic, i'd say the best gains i've got are when squatting where I have got really good gains, in about 2 months using Gakic i've added 30kg to my squats.
One thing I do find is that by the end of the workout I am no where as near fatigued as when not using Gakic.
Could be all in the mind but i'm not complaining :-)
Yeah smell and taste are not the best, but you do get used to them.
