Gadgets you can't live without

Obviously the mobile phone is the most popular.

From time to time, I use a PDA.
I used to quite frequently use a DiscMan/Mp3 player but rarely do anymore.

Generally, I find the less gadgets I haul around, the less stress I experience.

I can do without my mobile very easily. It would be my PC for for me though that is probably not classed as a gadget so other than that it would be my Foreman grill but then I'd still get by using a normal grill/pan

I remember 4 years ago, during the last World Cup, the gadget to get was a little casio colour pocket TV. I never bought one.

But I did buy a DVB-T USB box for my laptop a few months ago. It's been a godsend during this World Cup.

The kids can even watch TV in the car on my laptop using it.

Cool device (ok, I can live without it)

Had a good think about this, considered my pc, laptop, pda, ipod, mobile, camera etc, and really hoped it wouldn't come down to this, but I'd have to say my mobile, not for it's inbuilt camera, not for it's music playig abilities, not for it's games or bluetooth, but for the simple fact it is my way of staying in contact with the world.

I never give anyone my home number, not even work, and I always have my mobile on me, I feel (sadly) naked without it, I depend on it to be there when I need it, it is amazing (to me) just how much I use it on a daily basis.

So I couldn't be without my mobile, however the other things listed go a long way to filling in the other needs

    Wireless laptop card.

However, in order to enjoy that I would also have to say my laptop and the internet. I'm hoping that the next big gadget/innovation will be wireless charging of laptop batteries.
