Gatorade/Creatine

Ive read and reread the creatine article on this site and did search for this specific question so here it does.

Can you simply just add the creatine to your gatorade/powerade?
or does it have to be in a juice such as grape juice, that isnt carbonated.

I know a lot of you guys take if with your shakes but i usually like to down a gatorade before i work out to stay hydrated.

creatine(monohydrate) is not stable in liquids for long. So if you do mix it with your powerade....drink it quickly

Would it be any different then taking it with water or in your protein shake. Im pretty much trying to gauge what i should take it in if i dont have any grape juice lying around hehe.

i suppose it would be the same as having it in water.

IMO it's not a great idea to have it in grapefruit juice anyway. It is acidic, therefore degrading the creatine and turning it into creatinine, although grapefruit juice does provide the fructose and 'absorption' effects
