Glutamin & Cutting

Hi

I am currently cutting and have been advised to take glutamin 5gms every morning before my run without eating and then a protein shake or a meal i.e. eggs etc

I am having difficulty getting my mornings correct, my daily eating seems ok.

so is this correct:
glut
running
protein shake or food

then back to general eating?

then weight training in the evening

any advise apreciated.

in short l-glut is NOT needed for the morning cardio. One thing i would suggest is do not run and speed walk as this will avoid catabolic eating of your lean tissue if you keep the intensity down and you have carbs and protein after your cardio.

AM cardio low intensity 40-45 minutes of speed walking
Breakfast composed of comples carbs and lean protein with very little fat
    Diet as normal

i know its debateable but it has been said that the glut reduces catabolism of muscle etc etc when doing the cardio. I was going to do HIIT, or is this too intensive?

should i do protein before hand or on an empty stomach?

no HIIT in the morning empty stomach is not best for fat loss as it employs carbs and not fat. If yorue after fat loss keep the intensity low do nto ingest anything food wise this includes lglut and whey, caffeine and water is perfectly fine before cardio anything else will elicit a inculin reponse and hinder fat burning. The calories you burn by speed walking will not be as great as HIIT but the calories burned by converting fat into energy will be far higher than HIIT.

No need for l-glut at all as long as intensity is kept low and diet is nailed
