Never, if you have touched juice then your not a natural, it's like losing your virginity, it's gone forever.

if you have gain attributed to the use of AAS IMO you cant say im natural

what you could be proud of is a lengthy stint off the gear (if that is a measure of pride/achievement for you). so you could say, been clean for x amount of years after 1,2 or 3 cycles in my youth

TBH if you've done gear then you arn't natural, but as trebor says in terms of competing it's 10 years. Though some orginisations think that you can't be after you've hit the gear

Inclined to agree with the above comments. I've been off sometime now and would never refer to myself, to those whome I don't care knowing about AAS usage, as a natural. Clean, or 'born again natural' perhaps but IMHO it would be 'unfair' to those who are lifetime natty to state that I was natural.

Your only escape clause to some maybe if you totally regressed and then restarted training as natty, but even then you would still be at an advantage IMO.

You are never a non-smoker, you are always an ex-smoker. Trust me I battle the cravings everyday (6 years since I smoked 20 a day).

When I was a young boy, my father took me into the city to see a marching band. He said, "Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken, the beaten and the damned?".

As above, for most feds it's 10 years clean. Although with the NPA it's lifetime.
Once you have taken AAS you are never natural again. You are simply X years clean.

Well the reason i asked is that natural regs stipulate 5 years, and every gear user knows that when he comes off he loses his gains pretty quickly - look at kevin Levrone!! However, that would be a safety net in accordance with most regulations, what i dont know is the technicalities of going natural, i.e. its not your maintaining an anabolic state through gear now after x amount of years... does test keep on working? i dont think so.

i hear the natural champion just got caught taking juice anyway... what a joke! he must have passed all the lie detectors!

i think the advantage of using gear before is maybe the muscle memory, but thats only attibuted to the stretching of the muscle scapula.

as far as strength goes, i doubt the gear years after would be having any affect.

what do you think - try and refrain from the "im a natural and always have been" i dont want this to turn into a natural v gear thread. gear has no effect on how hard one trains, just the results, and dont give me any bull about aggressiveness; your mindset, dedication and work ethic in and out the gym is down to the individual.

And by the way, studies have shown that if you quit smoking, after 15 years the risk is the same as if you had never smoked. Less by certain ages.

    David Whittaker

i believe he has been competing naturally for years.

It seems being natural means you have to take on extra polygraph training and watching your gear intake more closely so as to not get caught. Looks like he was caught on a spot check out of competition.

    Some other "champions":

    Paris Kiripatea
Phillip Ricardo, Jr - got caught for ephedra only, he must have timed it wrong.
    Alan Bailey

its all on the natural site - check it out. They will probably reduce the amount of testing soon because it will all be an absoloute farce when more and more get caught.
