Grease is the word

This has been on in the background for me for the last few weeks, but I have never paid it much attention

However , my ears pricked up this evening when I heard a judge refer to one of the two finalists as "Kavanagh"

Now, I remember right at the start hearing that this guy (former successful (at the time) pop singer ) was entering , but thought nothing of it

But now it comes down to the final , and I realise he is in the final ?

OK , so I may be very wrong about this - but I can't help thinking this whole series has been a charade , and "Kavanagh" has already signed a deal to play the lead role in this stage show

Come on ! how stupid do they think we are ??!!

But as I say , I haven't been paying attention - but is it fair & square ? has he REALLY won his way to the top , or do you reckon the same as me ?

IF YOU DON'T WATCH IT , OR DON'T LIKE IT - THEN PLEASE DO ME A FAVOUR AND CLICK OFF THE THREAD WITHOUT COMMENTING - DON'T POST ABOUT HOW YOU NEVER WATCH IT BECAUSE IT'S BILGE PLEASE

No I think Kavanagh isnt going to win, I think the other guy has it hands down. Will be surprised if Kavanagh wins. I also think Brian McFadden's sister Susan will win......nothing to do with the famous connection of course!!

I also think Danny will win. He's a better singer, better dancer and he's dead fit............ er i mean!!!!!

Anthony has had a shot at stardom and fcuked it up. If he does win it's a fix.

thats what I mean ! a bit fishy that they audition from thousands of wannabes ......

have a publc voting fest , knocking them all out week after week ....

Then two of the four in the final are an ex pop star looking for work , and a pop stars(who worked for simon cowell ! ) sister ?

Yes I agree, there was also Sinbad from Brookside's daughter in the running at one point! Seems like Itv are trying their best to generate publicity versus the Joseph show on BBBC 1.

I wish the judges would shut up with their biased opinions, they clearly want Susan and the " easier on the eye" bloke to win!

The Joseph programme on bbc1 also has a ringer... a professional stage performer. I guess they don't want to take the risk of not finding someone half decent.

Another point...(not that Ive watched this every week without fail!!) David Ian told Susan a few weeks ago that he was concerned that she wouldnt look good enough in the black skin tight outfit in the last scene...when she just performed in said outfit, the camera hardly ever showed her full on,, there were aerial shots and all sorts which they didnt do to the other girl. Is this to help sway the voting?

I'm even thinking of taking the missus to see the show. I've never been to a Westend show before. Seen a couple of pantomimes as a kid though!

Does anyone know the average price of tickets for these type of shows these days?

i have no idea but i would imagne they would be quite expensive as its been on telly, mrs ginasmg went to see a play last month in birmingham and the tickets were 60 quid so probably quite a bit more than that.
