Green Tea Extract

Any of you guys take Green Tea Extract caps?

I'm on a cut at the moment and believe Green Tea is a decent supplement to take. I usually have a few cups of green tea a day, but am finding it really hard work at the moment!! Don't drink any tea or coffee (and never have) so find it hard to stomach!!

Anyway, H&B have some cheap Green Tea Extract capsules at the moment and thinking about getting some.

Comments welcome.....

I will try to get The DA mark2 to answer he takes Oolong Tea and loads of other stuff with green tea extract in it, he can't stop going on about it.

With a shed load of hard work and diet he has lost about 2.5 stone, not sure how much is down to the tea though.

I use both and find they are a great addition to the diet.

A green tea and a capsule before am and pm cardio does the trick

So you take a capsule and also drink the tea as well?

    Yep.

Take both at the same time before morning cardio and then with a whey shake before cardio and after weights.

I think I'd probably go into caffine overload with that

As mentioned earlier - I dont, and never have, drank coffee or tea. I rarely have Coke/Pepsi either - so when I do have any caffine I can really feel it.

Had a red bull a few years ago and nearly bloody killed myself!!

Although I prefer the tea itself, extract confers a degree of precision that the drink can not. Most of my clients use caps.

I have tried a shed load of different weight loss products with green tea extract in them and to be honest apart from one which give me evil side effects I did not notice any change.

But I have started to drink oolong tea and you can really feel an energy boast from the stuff and is supposed to be very good for loss of body fat I will keep posting if I notice any significant changes to body fat%.

I don’t think the energy boost is from caffeine as I used to drink gallons of cheap alternatives to red bull on top of pro plus and did not feel any change.

The Tabs I have are 315mg ones. They are one a day - and state not to exceed that.

Is there a danger in taking more than this?
