Green tea.

I've noticed a lot of people on here drink a lot of green tea within their diets, or even black coffee etc. Is this purely a healthier way of gettign the caffeine they crave or someting or are their other benefits?

I personally have never been overly into tea and coffee so if it's purely for somehting tastey to drink that's slightly better than processed tea then I won't bother starting now lol! But if there are benefits thne I may consider it...

Thanks, Ryan.

Ok cool so it's more useful during cutting than anything then? I'm trying to bulk at the mo but want it to be as lean a bulk as possible seeign as I'm 15/16% bf already...would it restrict mucle growth at all when bulking?

Oh and I found some maximuscle capsules int he cupboard unopened. 90 of thermobol and 90 softgels of cla-1000...thermobol seems tobe for cutting and cal-1000 for lean muscle building...are they both a fad and nto worth using(if so I'll wahck them on ebay) or are they any good at what they claim to do?

    Thanks, Ryan.

Good find there mate. Will likely get an order in there this week. How do you find making a cup of tea with loose leaves? I usually use the clipper stuff as its just like making a cup of normal tea!

Green tea wont cause you lean bulk thats a notion reserved for few really. You will gain fat, how much depends on your diet plan primarily in relation to lean mass gains. Green tea wont affect muscle growth at all as its thermogenic effect its extremely slight. As for the Maximuscle stuff, i say sell it on eBay and use the money to spend on food which will give you better results than whats in those bottles

Ok will do :) I didn't buy it so it's purely money gained :D

    Cheers!

So is it worth drinking green tea or am I better off waiting until I want to cut? RO are it's effects so small it doent make much odds to cuttign either?

    cool cheers :)

To save opening another thread I've ntouiced this week that I've become a lot spottier than normal since I've been eating properly...is this just a coincidence or is it somehting to do with hormones etc?

I'm 19 so spots arent all that unusual and i do have quite a spotty back anyway due to acne.(thank god I didn't get it on ym face lol) But i'm ntoicing the tops of my arms look kinda spotty and my back is getting worse.

    thanks, Ryan.

might be due to training make sure you dont sit around in those sweaty training gear for too long, use a loofah on your shoulders and back etc to scrape off any dead skin and drink plenty of water as this helps.

Think it is probably form training actually...as I come home and make food etc. and eat it before showering and do take my time about it! One thing I do do is drink shedloads of water...atleast 3 litres a day and have been for a year or so now :)

    or even black coffee

This for me is so that I can get a decent dose of caffeine (thermogenic) prior to fasted cardio without the insulin rise that adding milk/sugar would cause.
