Fat burners such as grenade wont work by them selves, you need a combination of cardio and diet in order to get any effect from it.

So to simplify, you wont loose any fat just by taking grenade

How much cardio would you say we both need to be doing?

Diets are sorted we are going for a very low carb, high protein style diet with a touch of healthy fat thrown in, our local health food store said this was the best way forward, they sold me some whey protein (Reflex Instant Whey) to use after training, this ok to use whilst loosing weight?

Loosing fat is all about calorie deficit, which means burning more calories than you actually consume.
So your body burns 2500 calories, you need to eat about 200-400 less to maintain the deficit and do a bit of cardio as well.

In terms of cardio, rather than doin long steady state cardio, do whats called TABATA, which is 4 minutes long 3 days a week

    http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/article-tabata-training.aspx

When your doing tabata you wont burn many calories during the workout, but you'll burn a lot of calories recovering.
Many people think that tabata is more effective.

It mite sound easy but trust me it aint lol, i do tabata using a cross trainer and i think its a great form of cardio

Drink your protein in the morning and straight after your weight workout

I've used them before and am thinking about switching back from EC.  Though as meantioned above they are an aid not a solution.
