Gym's in newcastle?

Hi Guys and Gals

i'm working away in newcastle soon for 1 week so i'm looking for a gym that will do a week pass or day passes, addresses or telephone numbers would be great. I'm working at the airport but plan to stay closer to the centre.

Cheers...

JJB in Byker or you can try Fitness First, there are a few hardcore gyms dotted around the Geordie capital. I'm up there the week after next so I'll be looking for a place to train.

There's afew gyms that do day passes, not so sure about week long passes, however even the day passes are quite expensive, for instance JJB, one of the better equipped gyms in Newcastle charges £10 a day for a guest pass.

That said, I think JJB actually has a special offer on at the moment where you can purchase a trial 30 day membership for £30 allowing you to make full use of all the facilities. Might be worth a look.

    Hi fellas,
i will check out the JJb thing when i am at work there on Tues...i knwo they do a month for £50 or £10 per day..its prob the best gym in the city right now if ur wanting some cardio too...like has been said there are some bodybuilding gyms around but not in the city centre..i think the closest one is in the east end of the city. JJb Byker is just 2 stops on the metro from the city centre. If u wanna send me a private message we can email each other if u like..will find out if there are any offers coming up too...hope this helps? :)

Only 4 stops on the metro is Felling Fitness and that's a cracking gym, you'll be over the water but the metro station might aswell be on it's doorstep
