Gyms in the City of London please

Hi all,

VERY long time no post! Probably about 4 years in fact. I doubt if many of the same faces are about, but if anyone recognizes the name then Hello!

Anyway, was living in Oz for a few years, now back in the UK (been here for about a year now but have fallen out of training routine to be honest). Clearly this is not good enough so I'm looking for a reasonable gym near work. I'm just off Bishopsgate near Liverpool St Stn, does anyone know anywhere? All I can find is Fitness First and LA etc. Nothing wrong with those but I don't need any cardio as I get that outdoors, and so I only need weights, no point in paying FF prices.

Cheers if you can help .

Im going to start training in Cannons round the Cannon St. station.

If youre up for a training buddy, Ill be available from the end of the month. Ive been out of the gym for about 7 odd months and Im looking to hit it hard again so looking for someone wholl want to push the barrier each session and someone whos reliable.
(I used to be a half decent size and Im looking to get bigger than I ever was).

Oh, Ill be training 3 times a week, tues, thurs and sat so well probably train tues and thurs together (sat ill train local and as its a sat, itll stop me from going on the booze and other on a friday night).

If that sounds good to you, send me an email.

Hazard a touch of narcissism without shame.

I'd say muscleworks Bethnla green, either number 8 bus or 1 stop on central line, £5 per session non memeber or £4 if you pay £30 for year or you can pay for whole year

    Proper gym
